Description:

Burunge Tented Camp, This tented fenced camp is 20 minutes from Tarangire National Park. It has 20 tents, 10 rooms and a restaurant with deck for views over the lake. The luxury lodge can do guided hikes in the concession area and cultural excursions and is a good mid range option to visit Tarangire National Park.

Location:

Burunge Tented Camp lies on the shores of Lake Burunge, between Lake Manyara and Tarangire national parks. The lodge can be reached by road (2 hours from Arusha) or on a 25 minute flight to the Manyara airstrip

Facilities:

The thatched reception area forms the main gathering point with the restaurant, bar and comfortable lounge opening up to a raised wooden deck with spectacular views over the lake Picnics can be arranged. There is internet access, but no credit card facilities.

Rooms:

Burunge Tented Camp, the tents overlook the lake and Tarangire National Park. With thatched roofs and canvas walls, they are furnished with twin/king beds and mosquito nets and have en-suite bathrooms (showers only). Tents are spacious and built on wooden decks with views of the lake from their verandas. There are four triple rooms.
