What Happens During the Tour?
Your adventure begins before dawn with an early morning transfer to the balloon launch site. As the balloon is inflated, guests receive a safety briefing before boarding for the sunrise flight.
The flight usually lasts around one hour, depending on weather conditions and wind direction. During the journey, the pilot provides fascinating insights into the Serengeti landscape and wildlife below.
After landing, guests are welcomed with a traditional celebratory toast before enjoying a freshly prepared bush breakfast surrounded by nature. The safari then continues with a regular game drive.
Best Time for a Balloon Safari
Balloon safaris operate throughout most of the year in selected regions of the Serengeti. Depending on the season, visitors may witness large concentrations of wildlife, predator activity, or even parts of the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Because balloon flights have limited capacity and are highly popular, advance reservations are strongly recommended, especially during peak safari seasons.
