Kaliwa Lodge
Best Hotels in Moshi & Arusha – By far the best hotel in Moshi. Run by a German proprietor, the service is excellent, the rooms clean and very comfortable and the food very tasty. The views of Kili from the terrace are amazing. Kaliwa Lodge provides an unforgettable stay in Moshi.
Costs: Room prices with breakfast included range from $80 for a single to $160 for a double.
Ideal for: Travellers looking for comfort, great service and incredible photographic views of Kilimanjaro
Main selling factor: Beautiful setting near Machame gate, very quiet as it is set away from Moshi town, amazing views of the forest and Mountain from the terrace. All-round nice little touches

Parkview Inn Moshi
A very respectable hotel, on par with a standard low-medium priced Western hotel. Conveniently located in Moshi town, but not too loud. Great service and fantastic view of Mount Kilimanjaro from the rooftop, where guests can relax and have drinks!
Costs: Room prices with breakfast included range from $80 for a standard twin / double to $130 for an deluxe double.
Ideal for: The average traveller who is accustomed to Western standards. Great for families.
Main selling factor: Nice swimming pool. Western standard hotel with good breakfast. Friendly and professional service. Wifi in public areas

- Keys Hotel Moshi: Popular trekking hotel. Basic but pleasant. ~$60-$80 a night
- Mount Kilimanjaro View Lodge: As the name suggests, expect great views! ~$70-$80 a night
- Nyumbani Hotel: Very central. Clean and comfortable. ~$80-$90 a night
- San Salinero Hotel: A little pricey compared to alternatives. Nice lodges. Great pool area! ~$120-$150 a night

- The Hibiscus Bed and Breakfast: Basic but super cheap. ~$30 a night
- Kilimanjaro Safaris Lodge: Central and cheap. ~$40-$50 a night

Kibo Palace Hotel
Best Hotels – Fantastic hotel, located in the centre of Arusha. Includes great rooms, poolside bar, fitness centre, spa, awesome restaurant and all-area Wifi access. Known for great service.

Ideal for: Travellers looking for a central location that provides the best quality and service for an affordable price.
Main selling factor: Position and amenities, which are all 5-Star quality.
The Arusha Hotel
The Arusha Hotel
Best hotels – in Arusha. Includes all the amenities that you would expect from a 5-Star hotel. It’s claim to fame is being the oldest hotel in the region – founded in 1894!
Costs: Room prices with breakfast included range from $180 for a superior room to $230 for a executive deluxe and $350 upwards for a suite, excluding hotel tax.
Ideal for: The discerning traveller!
Main selling factor: Real old school colonial feel. Fantastic service and brilliant amenities. Can’t knock this hotel, but it comes at a price.

- Mount Meru Hotel: Everything you would expect from a top hotel. ~$150-$200 a night
- The African Tulip: Super nice hotel. If budget is not a problem then book here. ~$150-$200 a night
- Kili Villa Guest House: Our favourite guest house in the region. Proper luxury but it comes at a price. $550 a night
- Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp Hotel: A good hour away from Arusha on Lake Manyara. Really great safari spot. $180 a night

Christina House
Total peace, harmony and authenticity is found At Christina house. A short drive outside of Arusha, the guest house offers 10 lovely rooms and great service for an unbeatable price. If you can secure a booking, then book immediately.

Western standard quality at a very affordable price. You can expect all the bells and whistles that come with a good 4-Star hotel. Rooms are very modern and amenities varied (spa, fitness centre, good restaurant, Wifi in the rooms). Located centrally.
